The Matthews Property Group has built an enviable reputation for quality and flair during its 27-year history.
The go-ahead group’s foundations were laid on the Gold Coast in 1978 by Larry Matthews, a hands-on developer who had honed his building skills during 14 years in the construction industry. Larry’s initial focus was on home-building but by 1980 his Matthews Property Group had broadened its horizons and had its first low-rise apartment project under way. The three-level Broadbeach building was a runaway success. The group set its sights higher in 1996 when it embarked on its first apartment tower, the up market Ocean Park overlooking the sea at Broadbeach. It is a building that Larry is today still proud to call home. |
